Why the 6277 is the default fitted cap
It is the broadest-stocked Flexfit at SanMar, so color and size availability is rarely the problem. The crown is firm enough for 3D puff, the front has a center seam that flat embroidery crosses without trouble, and the four size ranges cover roughly 6 3/4 through 8. A youth version (6277Y) exists for school and camp orders.
Decoration options
- Flat embroidery, front panel, up to 6,000 stitches: $7.00 per cap at 24-47, $5.00 at 144+, plus $18.99 one-time digitizing.
- 3D puff embroidery on the front: quoted per design. Puff + flat combo uses one digitizing fee.
- Laser-engraved leather patch, glued: $7.50 per cap at 24-47, $5.00 at 144+. Sewn-on add $1.00.
- Side hit, back arch text and second placements: quoted per job.
Keep leather patches on the 6277 under about 2.5 in wide so they bond flat across the seam; larger shapes do better on the seamless Flexfit 180 Delta.

Sizing a 6277 order
For a mixed adult group we usually suggest about 15% S/M, 55% L/XL and 30% XXL, adjusted to your crew. See the fitted hat sizing chart. Sizes do not change the price.
